Pinatas and fieldtrips...

For the artist activity badge and for the Blue and Gold banquet, the boys made pinatas. The boys enjoyed getting a little messy and then using their creativity to create their pinata. The pinatas will be used at the Blue and Gold at the end of the month for decorations and of course, they'll even get to break a few filled with candy.

Now, for the field trip...

Part of the artist badge is talking with an artist about his work. Patrick Hill from the Shadowbrook ward let us come to his office and learn about his graphic design business. The boys enjoyed seeing how he creates logos on his huge computer screen and listening to him talk about his work--he definitely loves what he does!
